This rule encompasses all Little League Organizations throughout the world. An example of this rule: A child turns 6 on May 1st is considered a league age 5. This is because his age is 5 on April 30th making him a league age 5. For softball the age is whatever age the child was in the previous calendar year. Any issues due to the age changes please speak to a CLL board member. |

| 9 - 12 year olds | Minor League - Dependent upon draft assignments |
| 10 - 12 year olds | Major League - Dependent upon draft assignments |
| 13 & 14 year olds | Junior League |
| 15 & 16 year olds | Senior League |
| 7 - 8 year olds | Instructional Softball (Coach pitch) |
| 9 - 10 year olds | Minor League (Half time coach pitch) |
| 10 - 12 year olds | Major League - Dependent upon draft assignments |
| 13 & 14 year olds | Junior Division |
| 15 & 16 year olds | Senior Division |
